Hello! My name is Kelli Makenna, your Gen Z Career Coach.

I know from experience how tough the job market can be for Gen Z — because I have been there before. After earning my degree in Communications, I navigated the same competitive hiring game that new grads are thrown into today. But I didn’t stop there…

I went on to work in Recruiting, and became a SHRM-Certified Human Resources Professional. I gained insider knowledge on what hiring managers and recruiters actually look for in the candidates who get the job.

Now as the founder of Careers With Kelli, I’m using my Human Resources expertise, Recruiting experience, and understanding of the Gen Z job search experience to help young professionals land the job they dream of. I have interviewed 400+ candidates, and have hand crafted 500+ resumes and cover letters, so I know what works — and what doesn’t.

But I also understand how overwhelming the job search can be. It took me countless hours of studying and gaining experience to become an expert in exactly what recruiters want in ideal candidates. Now, I teach my clients these tips and tricks so they don’t have to waste time figuring it out the hard way.
